This is more of a placeholder for me to remember to come to this site if I ever need distraction when I enter my birthing time. I read about 3 pages worth of
this site and had to stop not only because it was so funny I was disrupting my office mate, but I couldn't breath by the end of it.
Nice blog..i liked reading about your commitment to natural birth..i am in the same boat..first baby due on feb 7, and thinking all natural, including cloth diapering :)
ReplyDeleteThanks (and congratulations) Shikha! Unfortunately its a little late for you to be considering hypnobirthing, but I'm finding it to be very effective. I would strongly recommend you to meditate daily to gain more control over your mind. I believe it will really help you to deal with your discomfort during your birthing time.
ReplyDelete(Now you've inspired me to write a couple of posts about last minute prep for a natural childbirth!)
You can do it & keep my posted!
I had started hypnobabies in nov..I switched to the natural mindset pretty early, which is why i related to your blog entries..now i am just hoping for the best..the only prob is that I cant really talk to any of my friends about going natural without a very thick bubble of peace :)
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with my first pregnancy as well (Family & Friends included). If you find it worthwhile, you can join the hypnobabies yahoo group at http://www.pregnancybirthandbabies.com/Yahoo%20Group.htm.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively, I would be happy to chat with you outside of this blog over email: shadargee@yahoo.com.
